Relying on a joint laboratory, the two parties will adhere to the cooperation principles of “strong–strong collaboration, complementary advantages, resource sharing, and mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.” They will focus on tackling key technologies such as high-power divertor components for fusion reactors, comprehensive performance evaluation and in-service performance simulation of plasma-facing components for fusion, and repair of tungsten–copper divertor assemblies, thereby advancing the engineering application of controlled nuclear fusion energy in China, seizing the commanding heights of the global energy technology revolution, and injecting core momentum into the industrialization of controlled nuclear fusion energy. This collaboration represents a pivotal step for Antai Technology in deeply integrating with national strategies and supporting major national science and technology initiatives. It will provide robust support for China’s independent innovation in energy technology, the building of an energy security system, and the transition to green and low-carbon development, offering solid guarantees for achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance and strength and for constructing a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system, thus helping to forge a major national energy infrastructure capable of meeting future needs.
