Austenitic microstructure, ultra-low carbon content, excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, and no need for heat treatment. Typically used for welding ultra-low-carbon Cr19Ni13Mo3 stainless steel and for surfacing corrosion-resistant layers. It exhibits superior corrosion resistance compared with Y316L and is suitable for welding critical chemical vessels.
